Group seeks quality education for the vulnerable

An Non Governmental Organisation, LOLA CATER 4 The Needy Foundation has stressed the need for the vulnerable and Internally Displaced children to have access to qualitative education to foster development in the Country.

The Executive Director Foundation, Miss Ololade Ogunnubi gave the indication at an event tagged: “Education Convergence” organized for children at the Kuchigoro IDP camp in Abuja.

Miss Ogunubi explained that the programme was aimed at sensitizing the children on the importance of education.

She said the focus was to also inculcate necessary skills on vulnerable children and add value to their lives.

A Menstrual Hygiene Advocate, Miss Amanda Ogboo spoke to the children on the essence of menstrual and personnel hygiene management and urged young girls to keep themselves clean during and after menstrual cycle.

Some of the items presented by the Lola Cater 4 The Needy Foundation are school materials such as: textbooks, notebooks, storybooks, others are bags, shoes, toys and clothes.
