Singer Asa, with full name Bukola Elemide, has given a copyright infringement notice to Joeboy after the release of his song, ‘Contour’.

In a letter sent by Asa’s lawyers to Joeboy, which he posted on his Instagram Story, revealed accusations of a copyright suit resulting from the composition of Joeboy’s record.

The notice which was signed by her management team demanded the sum of N300 million from joeboy, a 60 percent publishing split on the song, a written apology, and asked that he immediately remove the song from all digital streaming platforms within 24 hours.

Reacting to the notice on his Instagram story page, joeboy said that people seem to want to take him for a ride because he is quiet. He dared Asa’s management team to take any legal action and reminded them that the 24 hours notice had elapsed.

Joeboy added, “Cos I dey always do love and light you think se I be soft meat. You said I have 24 hours, it’s been 48 hours, do something”.
