President Muhammadu Buhari will present the 2023 Appropriation Bill to the joint session of the National Assembly on Friday.
This is contained in a communication from the President to the two chambers of the National Assembly read by the speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila.
President Buhari informed the lawmakers that he would be at the National Assembly complex by 10:00 am to address a joint session and present the fiscal document.
The budget of N19.76 trillion will be the last to be presented by President Buhari.
Senate President Ahmad Lawan said that the President will address the joint session of the parliament as against the earlier fears that there might be no space to accommodate the session due to the ongoing renovation.
Security in and around the National Assembly is expected to be tightened against the Presentation on Friday.
