The Kano state Police Command has arrested one Abubakar Mohammed Sadiq a suspected escapee of Kuje prison break in the state
In a statement on Friday by the spokesman of the command, Abdullahi Kiyawa, the suspect was arrested at Rangaza Quarters, Ungogo Local Government area of Kano State.
The statement states that Mr Sadiq, a 25-year old was arrested on September 23 at about 6:00pm, based on intelligence gathering.
He was nabbed by a team of Operation Restore Peace, attached to the command’s Criminal Investigation Department, CID, he said
He added that the suspect would be handed over to the Nigeria Correctional Service, Kano State Command.
