Chairperson Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria FCT chapter

The Chairperson, Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria (MMPN),FCT chapter, Hajiya Medina Nadabo has congratulated Muslims on the occasion of Eid El Maulid.

In a statement, Hajiya Medina welcomed the date which, she said, has come again for Muslims the world over to indulge in prayers and praise upon the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him, in commemoration of his birthday.

MMPN, FCT Chapter “joins Muslims in different continents to commemorate this special occasion in which it reminds the Muslim faithful about the life and times of the prophet Muhammad,” the statement said.

It also said the period of Maulud is one that calls for rededication and sober reflection as adherents to the Prophet Peace Be upon Him, teachings of fairness, unity and Godliness.

“Muslim Media Practitioners wish to advocate for peaceful coexistence among the citizenry, so that life will be easier for all to worship God Almighty, to make the society productive and rancor free,” it declared.

Reminding Nigerians about the election campaigns, which have already begun across the country, the MMPN called for “vigilance and non vindictiveness during this season”.
