Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has appointed 14,000 advisers to the state’s various political units.
The advisers will play an important role in the administration, according to a statement signed by the Governor’s spokesperson, Kelvin Ebiri.
In addition to the 14,000 advisers, Governor Wike has appointed 319 Ward Liaison Officers and 40 Local Government Area Liaison Officers, according to Mr Ebiri.
The appointments take effect immediately.
