A Chinese electronic vehicle maker has publicly presented its flying car in the United Arab Emirates as the company works towards launching the electric aircraft on international markets.

The X2 is a two-seater electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft powered by eight propellers, two in each corner, Reuters reports.

The manufacturer said the Monday’s 90-seconds test flight in Dubai was an “important base for the next generation of flying cars.”
