Also promoted back to the Premier League, are Correction Boys of Abuja who needed to defeat Confluence Kings of Lokoja, as they produced a similar scoreline of 33-20, same as it was in the game between Bendel Dynamos and Idah Pillars.

In the Women’s Category, Delta Force of Asaba upstaged Abia Valiants of Umuahia to get promotion into the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League, by defeating MindScope Academy of Abeokuta 28-19.

Having won all of their matches in Benin, Bayelsa Queens were crowned champions of the Women’s Division One League and they took the first of two available promotion slots, back into the Premier League, from which they were relegated, last year.
