FOWA tasks women on productivity

The Fire Officers’ Wives Association, FOWA, has tasked women to be more proactive in all their endeavours to enable them contribute meaningful to nation development.

The President of the Association, Mrs. Iyabo Jaji made this known in Abuja at a One-Day workshop with the theme: Improving Productivity through behavioural and Attitudinal Change organized by FOWA.

Mrs. Iyabo Jaji explained that the workshop was aimed at strengthening and encouraging women to continuously contribute to the socioeconomic development of the Nation.

“The motive of this programme is to increase your productivity at home, at work and everywhere you find yourselves as women, we must be relevant and useful irrespective of the situation and circumstances to ourselves, our family and to the nation at large”. Mrs Iyabo added.

The convener of the workshop,  Kelechi Kingsley stressed that human thought, attitude and behaviour plays a vital role in human productivity and ideas generation.

“Yours is what reflect in your actions, if you begin to think of how to be more productive, how to have a happier home and how to do things in a different and better ways You will find it  easy to generate ideas”

The Controller General, Federal Fire Service, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Jaji represented by the Head of  Operations FFS, ACG Mu’azu Tambari noted that the Workshop would improve the status of FOWA women in Nigeria.
