Auto crash kills 9 in Adamawa

Nine persons have been killed in an auto crash in Adamawa State.

A truck carrying laterite sand was said to have veered off the road after losing control at Vunoklang junction, near the Jimeta bridge and colliding with other vehicles before straying to a mechanic workshop killing the workers and injuring 6 others.

The driver of the truck was said to have escaped and abandoned his vehicle.

Confirming the incident, the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission in the state, Yelwa Dio said those with injuries had been moved to a hospital.
