Radio Nigeria Staff wins media award

Radio Nigeria’s Principal reporter, Adeniyi Bakare, has received a Media Award in recognition of his reports on housing and public service.

Adeniyi Bakare was honoured amongst other dignitaries at the Housing Finance Summit in Abuja on Wednesday.

At the Summit, Chief Executive Officer of NISH Affordable Housing Limited, Mr Yemi Adelakun said the recipients were carefully selected based on their contribution to housing development.

The participants called for non-Interest financing such as Sukuk and providing affordable houses to Nigerians.

During the Housing Summit, Awards were presented to deserving individuals, organizations and cooperatives for their immense contributions to housing in the country.

Among the recipients are Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan and Founder of Aig Foundation, Aigboje Aig-Imoukuede, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Former Managing Director, of Family Homes Funds, Femi Adewole andManaging Director of Aso Savings and Loans, Hajia Risi Ahmed.

Other awardees are Lagos Commissioner for Housing, Moruf Akinderu-Fatai and Federal Government Housing Loans Board, Federal Integrated Staff Housing Cooperative and Nigeria Immigration Service Cooperatives among others.
