AEDC working to restore power to College of Education, Okene

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC says it is working with the Federal College of Education, Okene, Kogi State to restore power supply to the institution.

A statement signed by the AEDC Management on Thursday, says as soon as it received the compliant the company immediately deployed its equipment to the institution to repair the damaged transformer due to the sensitivity of the institution.

The statement quoted the AEDC’s Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Donald Etim as saying that the two organizations have been in constant communication as to the progress made so far on the repairs with a view to concluding it in a few weeks.

“This is one case we have taken very seriously. From the onset, we have broken protocol and even tagged it as top priority to get it resolved. It is callousness and pure mischief for anyone to circulate a media release that
seeks to project AEDC as an insensitive or unresponsive organization
”, Etim says.

The statement says the AEDC remains committed to all its customers as it will not relent in providing quality service to them.
