Wadada to renovate abandoned police outpost in Keffi

The Social Democratic Party SDP Senatorial candidate for Nasarawa West, Mr Ahmed Wadada has pledged to renovate an abandoned police outpost which he constructed and donated to the Nigeria Police in Keffi, 13 years ago.

Wadada made the pledge when he led a delegation comprising the leadership of his campaign council and supporters on assessment of the outpost, in Keffi Local Government, Nasarawa State.

The former two-term member of the House of Representatives said it has become necessary for him to renovate the abandoned outpost in order to ensure more security presence in the outskirts of Keffi town.

He said government alone cannot shoulder the responsibility of providing security of lives and properties, hence the need for all citizens to contribute their quota towards improving security in their localities.

Wadada, therefore, set-up a three-man committee headed by the Director General of his campaign council, Bello Ramalan, to liaise with the Keffi Divisional Police Officer to come up with modalities on how to ensure immediate renovation of the outpost.

The police outpost also provides security to the Federal Government’s power distribution station against the activities of vandals in this area.
