There will be no presidential run off – PDP

The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organisation has told the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC not to bother itself with any preparation for a run off in the 2023 Presidential election saying that the Presidential Candidate of the People Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, would win at the first ballot.

In a statement, a Spokesman for the organization, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan advises INEC not to listen to diversionary narratives by apologists of some parties who are seeking ways to derail the election.

The campaign urges INEC to deploy its resources towards conducting a free, fair, transparent and credible election that will be generally accepted by majority of Nigerians.

Mr ologbodiyan also urges Nigerians to remain resolute in their determination to vote in their choice, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and take every step necessary within the ambit of the law to protect their votes.

Meanwhile, the PDP presidential campaign train would be in Gombe state tomorrow.

A statement by the Director General, PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal urges all elected PDP Governors, Members of PDP National Working Committee, National Assembly Members, NEC and BOT Members, State Chapters, Former Governors, Former Ministers, PDP Candidates, and Stakeholders to be part of the event.
