Gov Sule pledges ‘fairness, good governance’ if reelected

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State says he will be fair in providing good governance to the people if re-elected in the forthcoming general election.

Governor Sule, who is the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, was speaking at a campaign rally for his re-election, held in the Awe Local Government Area of the state.

The Governor also pledged to carry out more development projects if given a second chance, insisting that the APC was on course to take Nasarawa State to another level of growth.

In his own address to the mammoth crowd that thronged the venue of the rally, the state chairman of the APC, Dr John Mamnan said the party would “remain committed to unity” and “responsive to the diversity of the people”.

The ultimate goal, he stressed, was to ensure the APC’s victory in the 2023 general election.

Dr Mamnan called on the teeming supporters of the APC in the area to keep faith with the party despite the spate of Court cases and defections that have plagued it since its primaries.

He said it was a good thing that the APC had continued to receive a large number of new members due to its ideals of “internal democracy and ability to manage differences”.
