He made the call when he led a delegation from the Defense Headquarters to the office of the National Human rights commission headquarters in Abuja.

General Irabor who was emphatic that the report was aimed at demoralizing the moral of the military, said an independent investigation by the commission would go a long way to exonerate the military.

The Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission, Chief Tony Ojukwu while commending the Chief of Defence Staff for the steps the military has taken in this matter pledged to do a thorough investigation that would meet international standards.
