President Buhari harps on religious tolerance

President Muhamamdu Buhari has expressed delight in the promotion of religious tolerance demonstrated by members of Jam’iyyatu Ansaridden Attijaniyya.

The President made the commendation in Abuja, while receiving a delegation of the group, led by Khalifa, Sheikh Muhammad Khalifa Niass.

The President told them that he valued their roles in promoting stability in several African countries.

President Buhari, who thanked members of the group for their fervent prayers for his administration and the country, said he was looking forward to returning to Daura, his hometown in the next five months, at the end of his tenure.

A member of the delegation, Sheikh Tijjani Shehul Hadi Almauritany, offered prayers for the President, the country and Nigerians, while the recitation of the Glorious Quran was conducted by Sheikh Abdullahi Lamine.
