Action Alliance inaugurates Campaign Council

Following the recent Appeal Court Judgement, which upheld Dr Adekunle Rufai Omo-Aje, as the National Chairman of Action Alliance, AA, the party has called on INEC to upload the candidates recognized by the Appellate court for the 2023 election.

The National Chairman of AA, Dr Rufai Omo-Aje at a World news Conference in Abuja said, the party as a democratic party, will not fold its arms and watch the nation’s nascent democracy being rubbished.

The Party, while inaugurating the party Presidential Campaign Council, explained that AA, was concerned that the failure to upload Court’s recognised candidates could be used to ambush the 2023 elections.

Dr Omo-Aje while calling on the Nigerian Bar Association to make sure its members adhere to professionalism, said the party would use every legal means to get justice for the Court’s recognised candidates.

The Court of Appeal of a three-member panel led by its President, Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem had on Thursday struck out an appeal seeking the reversal of the nullification of retired Major Hamza Al-Mustapha as the Presidential Candidate of the AA and others.

The court recognised Presidential Candidate, Mr Solomon Okanigbuan, who was also at the conference, promised to return Nigeria to a true giant of Africa when elected into power in 2023 election.
