The Federal government says the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari is leaving an unprecedented legacy of prosperity and development that will put the name of the country on the global map in all spheres of human endeavor.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed stated this at the PMB administration Scorecard, 2015-2023, in Abuja, a platform designed to educate Nigerians on the achievements of the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed set the ball rolling by telling Nigerians that the achievements recorded by the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration are unprecedented and can not be rubbished or erased by those bent on destroying the records.
”The Buhari Administration is leaving a legacy of a social Investment programme that is unprecedented in the whole of Africa, a programme that has enhanced the quality of life of the beneficiaries. Our pace-setting social investment programmes like N-Power, School Feeding, Conditional Cash Transfer and GEEP (Government Enterprise Empowerment programme have benefitted millions of our citizens, bothyoung and old, and this can neither be trivialized nor denied.’‘ He noted
On Agriculture, the Minister of Information and Culture, maintained that the number of fertilizer blending plants have increased, thereby putting the country on the path of self-sufficiency in food production which helped the country during the outbreak of COVID-19.
Alhaji Lai Mohammed, also stressed that the present administration has also achieved a lot in the area of security as the military and other security agencies have succeeded in defeating the insurgents which has resulted in relative peace in the country.
‘‘The Buhari Administration is leaving a legacy of a revamped security sector, in the face of unprecedented security challenges in the country. Today, the Nigerian military is being restored to its glorious past, thanks to Mr. President’s foresight and doggedness in re-equipping the various services”.
“This has made it possible for
the military to tackle insurgency and all other security challenges facing the country. As you can now see. Compare this with those who literally passed a vote of no confidence in our military by bringing in mercenaries to fight insurgency.”
The Information and Culture minister said unprecedent achievements have been recorded in the areas of Infrastructure, anti-corruption, adjudication of justice, inclusivity, health and education sector.
Alhaji Lai Mohammed, added that irrespective of the antics of the opposition, President Muhammadu Buhari has recorded many achievements in the past 7years.
