Lawmaker calls on INEC to make PVC collection seamless

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has been urged to make the collection of Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) across the country more seamless without any difficulty.

A member of the House of Representatives from Kano State Mr Shamsuddeen Dambazau, made the call while briefing journalists at the National Assembly in Abuja.

The lawmaker said that the Electoral Act 2021 which was passed by the House addressed the issue of under-aged voting.

He advised security agencies to provide the needed atmosphere for a successful election.

According to him, the security situation in Nigeria has greatly improved over the years.

“The government gave a deadline and people should be held accountable for the responsibility given to them to achieve results. We are achieving results and more were expected to be achieved“. Hon Dambazau said.

He also expressed optimism that the All Progressives Congress APC, would win the 2023 presidential election.
