Adventists Church tasks Armed Forces on service to humanity

The Seventh Day Adventist Church Asokoro, Abuja wants members of Nigerian Armed Forces to use thier talents and resources to impact on the society in the interest of the nation.

The Resident Pastor of the Church, Munaji Musa made the call at a special Sabbath to mark this year’s Armed Forces Remembrance day .

Pastor Musa alleged that some Security operatives were in the habit of oppressing the people they are meant to protect.

He called on them to be good stewards of their positions and resources by serving God and humanity.

According to Pastor Munaji, the more the members of Nigeria Armed Forces use their talents, time and Skills for the good of the society, the more they would attain greater heights in thier careers.

The Resident Pastor maintained that God would hold everyone accountable, hence the need for military personnel to be fair and just in thier dealings.

“I wish everyone and each of us will be faithful in all our dealings, in our Offices especially in this year 2023.” Pastor Musa explained.

A Retired Major General, Amnon Kwaskebe advised those in Service to be patient and humble and demonstrate love for the nation.

Mrs Charity Manga and Dinoke Success were among the wives of serving Personnel at the service.

They shared their experiences whenever thier husbands received a call for special duty.

For Mrs Manga, spiritual back up has been her major weapon giving in support to her husband whenever he call to go to war.
