The federal government has reaffirmed its determination to improve the freight forwarding activities in the country.
The State minister of Transportation Ademola Adegoroye stated this during the commissioning of Council for the Regulation of Freight forwarding(CRFFN), Kano Zonal Office.
Mr Ademola Adegoroye noted that the Kano State Zonal Office was the first inaugurated by the ministry geared towards enhancing the economy of the nation.
Permanent secretary of the Ministry, Mrs Magdalene Ajani said with the increase of globalization and number of human as well as the elected movements of cargo to large distance by sea or land, It has become necessary to expand the scope of freight forwarders activities in different destination of the country.
Registrar Chief Executive Officer (CRFFN) Sam Nwakohu said the Zonal Office was first built in Kano to cater for the northern parts of the country, stressing that more offices would be established in sokoto , Enugu and other states of the country.
