PDP suspends members over anti-party activities

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended Senator Chimaroke Nnamani of Enugu State and Chief Chris Ogbu of Imo State over allegations of anti-party activities.

In a statement, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Debo Ologunagba, says the decision was taken after extensive review and consideration of the affairs of the party in the country and in line with the PDP Constitution.

The PDP NWC also suspended some Party members in Ekiti State including Mr. Ayeni Funso – Ekiti North; Ajijola Oladimeji – Ekiti Central; Emiola Jennifer – Ekiti South II and Ajayi Samuel- Ekiti North II.

Other are Olayinka Olalere – Ekiti Central ; Akerele Oluyinka – Ekiti North I, Fayose Oluwajomiloju – Ekiti Central I.

The PDP urges all its leaders, stakeholders and members across the country to remain united and focused on the task ahead.
