Arsenal have remained top of the English Premier League table after striker, Eddie Nketiah’s 90th-minute winner gave them a dramatic 3-2 victory over Manchester United at Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening.
Earlier, Manchester City’s win over Wolverhampton Wanderers applied pressure on the Gunners but they responded with character and quality, even after going behind, to secure a five-point advantage at the top with a game in hand.
In other games played
Liverpool and Chelsea’s match ended in a goalless draw, and West ham defeated Everton by two goals to nothing.
The game involving Leicester city and Brighton also ended in a two all draw while it was Bournemouth 1 Nottingham Forest 1.
Aston Villa were one nil winners away to Southampton in a match that was suspended due to unauthorised drone at the stadium.
In the late evening kick-off, Crystal Palace frustrated Eddie Howe’s men as Newcastle could not find the of the net with both sides forced to share the spoils in a goalless stalemate.
Brentford and Leeds United after 90 minutes ended in a goalless draw.
