A Kaduna- Abuja train has derailed close to Kubwa train station.
Nigerian railway commission and security officials who were seen at the scene, said there was no casualties.
The cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing the report.
Personnel of the Nigerian Police were on ground to protect the passengers.
Inspection team visited the area to assess the damage on the railway.
The recovery crane arrived around 8.30pm on Friday tonight with the crew, and the requisite assessment and recovery work commenced immediately.
