The All Progressives Congress APC, Presidential Campaign Council PCC has developed an App ‘Thinking Caps’ to boost its campaign strategy as the February election approaches.
At a news briefing in Abuja, the Director, Strategic Communications of the Campaign Council, Alhaji Muhammed Idris, told journalists that the App provided the opportunity for all Nigerians to access information about the progress of the campaign and the candidates.
Alhaji Muhammed explained that the information embedded in the App was carefully done to target the youth who were the majority of the active population and participants in elections.
He said to make the App more interesting, objective questions were included to broaden to knowledge of Nigerian about the candidates and the country, where the country was coming from and where it should go.
Other members of the Directorate said the strategy was useful to all Nigerians and a clear demonstration of truth in whatever the party was doing as well as an opportunity to ask questions.
They said the over 90 million prospective voters had the opportunity to verify the truth and manipulated information about the campaigns and its candidates.
