The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) says it has trained over 936 unemployed youths in Kwara on skills acquisition for self development.
The state NDE Coordinator, Mr Aba Timothy made the disclosure while speaking with Newsmen in Ilorin
According to him the skills acquisition training was aimed at reducing unemployment in the state.
Mr Timothy said that the youths who benefited from the scheme were trained on sustainable agriculture, environmental beatification, horticulture among others.
The NDE coordinator advised the youths in the state to key into the skill acquisition programmes of the agency and shun drug abuse as well as other anti social vices, so as to chart a better future for themselves.
