The National Population Commission (NPC) has received the first batch of 100,000 Personal Assisted Devices (PDA) for the conduct of the 2023 Population and Housing census.
The Chairman, Zinox Nigeria, Leo Syan-Ekeh, producers of the device, said the PDA was produced with highest quality to deliver on the headcount.
Mr Syan-Ekeh appreciated the Federal Government through the National Population Commission for the opportunity to contribute to ICT development in the country.
The Chairman, NPC, Alhaji Nasir Isa Kwara, who received the PDAs, said the Commission remains committed to delivering an accurate, reliable and acceptable headcount.
He said the delivery of the PDAs will go a long way in ensuring that functionaries on the field capture and count Nigerians digitally.
Alhaji Kwara called on all Nigerians to support the process and present themselves to be counted.
