Injury side-lines Spurs keeper Lloris for 6 weeks

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper and captain, Hugo Lloris has been ruled out for six weeks with a knee injury.

The 35-year-old France international sustained ligament damage in Spurs’ 1-0 victory over Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.

Although Spurs have former Southampton keeper, Fraser Forster as back-up, the experience and expertise of Lloris will be missed.

Lloris has seven clean sheets to his name this season after playing 21 league games for the North London side.

Tottenham are currently fifth in the Premier League and fighting for a Champions League spot for next season.
