Police commend FRCN on campaign against cultism

The Police Campaign Against Cultism and other Vices(POCACOV) of the Nigeria Police Force has commended the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for its coverage and dissemination of the campaign against cultism and other vices through Police Diary and other programmes on the Network Service of Radio Nigeria.

‘Police Diary’ which focuses on the activities of the Nigeria police Force and how they interface with the public for a safer society is a platform that helps bridge the gap between the Nigeria Police Force and the citizenry through information dissemination and enlightenment.

The program also spotlight interviews, discussions, public participation on security issues, complaints about police personnel, individual or community matters.

POCACOV led by its National coordinator, CSP Ebere Amaraizu was at Radio House Area 10, Garki, Abuja this weekend to present certificate of recognition to the producers of Police Diary Isaac Bare, Oriin Aondohemba and Sunday Igoche as POCACOV stakeholders.

The recipients thanked the National Coordinator POCACOV, CSP Ebere  Amaraizu and the Nigeria Police Force for the gesture and promised the corperation’s continued support towards saving the children and youths from the claws of Cultism and other vices in the society.

The recipients also thanked the FRCN Management for providing the platform.

Police Diary comes up every Wednesday on the Network Service of Radio Nigeria at 8:30am and Thursday at 2:30pm.
