The Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Organisation has condemned the attacks on its members during rallies in Lagos State.

At a news briefing in Abuja, the Director General of the Obi-Datti Campaign Organization Mr. Akin Osuntokun described the attack on members of the party as a threat to the nation’s democracy.

The Campaign Organization called on the Inspector General Of Police, the Department of State Services, and other security agencies, to deploy intelligence and reinforcements to ensure the safety of innocent citizens during and after elections.

Mr. Osuntokun also urged security agencies to ensure the arrest and prosecution of perpetrators of the attacks on innocent Nigerians.

The Labour Party Campaign DG said the Party would continue to toe the path of prosperity, discipline and fair play, and would also remain unwavering on insisting a truly free and fair election.

He said,  the ‘Obidient’spirit was not such that would be deterred by violence or thuggery, as they  have resolved to vote in Peter Obi and Datti Baba-Ahmed in next week’s Presidential election.
