About 178 Local Government Areas in 32 states of the Federation risk flooding this year.
The Minister of Water Resources, Mr Suleiman Adamu who stated this in Abuja at the public presentation of the Annual Flood Outlook for this year.
He explained that, the Thirty-Two states fall under highly probable Flood areas.
Mr Adamu pointed out that, the Twenty-Twenty-Two Flooding was the worst experienced since the inception of the present Administration called for quick and effective measures by State Governments and other relevant Agencies to work towards preventing the disaster.
