Clergy urges Nigerians to pray for 2023 election

Christian faithful have been urged to intensify prayer ahead of Saturday’s Presidential Election.

Pastor in Charge of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Faith and Power, Pastor Gbenga Sorunke gave admonition in a message titled, “the Power in the name of Jesus Christ”.

Pastor Sorunke called on all citizens to pray for a credible election and God-sent leader to emerge.

The Clergyman said God was capable to give the country a turn around in all sectors, that would surpass all human imagination, If Nigerians put their trust in God alone.

He advised electorate to cast their votes without fear and intimidation and shun all forms of violence before, during and after the polls.

Meanwhile, a cross section of Abuja Residents have expressed their determination to come out en masse on the day of election for them to exercise their franchise.
