Committee warns youths against political violence

The Director-General Committee of Youths on Mobilization and Sensitization, Chief Obinna Nwaka has appealed to the youths not to allow any political party use them to cause violence at the polling units on Saturday.

Chief Nwaka stated this in Abuja during a pre- election conference and capacity building for those who will observe the general election.

He commended the youths for their participation during PVC Registration and urged them to come out en masse on Saturday to exercise their franchise.

He also urged the youths to remain calm and focused despite the challenges associated with the CBN monetary policy.

“We are re affirming our support for the EFCC in the fight against Corruption and also joining force with them to say No to vote buying.”

On vote buying, Chief Nwaka advised political actors not to cause problems at the polling units while calling on the Security Agencies to prosecute anyone caught in the act.
