Primate declares 3-day prayer for peaceful elections

The Primate, Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba has declared a 3-day Special Prayer for peaceful conduct of the Presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday.

Addressing the Congregation at the Cathedral Church of Advent, Life Camp Abuja to kick start the three day Prayers , Archbishop Ndukuba appealed to Nigerians to seek Divine Intervention for Nigeria.

The Primate prayed for a peaceful election and urged eligible voters to come out en masse and participate fully in choosing new leaders for the country.

Archbishop Ndukuba called on Nigerians to shun violence and avoid activities that could disrupt the peace of the country.

The Anglican Primate urged Christians to use this year’s Lenten season to make themselves available for the service of God.

Archbishop Ndukuba assured that God will continue to have mercy on the country and the gate of hell will not overcome the Church.
