NOA sensitisation walk in Kogi state Eleojo Salifu
The Kogi State National Orientation Agency, NOA, has organised a Road Sensitisation exercise on the need for eligible voters to adhere strictly to INEC guidelines on peaceful and credible Elections.
Acting Director of the Agency in Kogi State, Mrs Florence Oluyemisi Olorunmisola while addressing newsmen in Lokoja appealed to eligible voters to come out enmasse in the Elections and participate in the process of electing new Leaders that would take the Nation to the next level of development.
She re- emphasised the need for eligible voters not to violate INEC Electoral Guidelines such as underaged voting, vote buying and selling, wearing of Political Parties uniforms, displaying acts of violence and drunk behaviour.
The State Acting Director of the Agency explained that INEC had made the elections stress-free by the introduction of the BVAS device and assured residents of Kogi State that their votes would count.
Mrs Florence Olorunmisola advised voters to ensure they vote according to their conscience and not out of manipulation by any Party Agent.
She also stressed the need for them to thumb print properly during the process to avoid void votes and urged them to seek clarifications from INEC officials when in doubt.
The Kogi State Director of NOA also appealed to eligible voters to conduct themselves orderly and peaceful in order not to truancate the Electoral process.
