Protests have disrupted the collation of the presidential election result in Imo State, which started around noon on Monday.
Party agents alleged manipulation of the results which favoured the All Progressives Congress.
State Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, Prince Marshal Okafor-Anyanwu and PDP Agent Chief Martins Ejiogu asked INEC to throw out the results from Okigwe and Oru east local government areas.
They said most of the wards where results were made did not hold elections.
Normalcy was later restored to the centre with the help of security agents.
The APC agent, Cyprian Akaolisa insisted that INEC should accept the result, saying that the commission did not have the power to reject any result presented to them by collation officers.
The State Collation Officer, Professor Charles Esimone told the protesting parties to write formal complaints to the INEC chairman in Abuja.
