#NigeriaDecides2023: Atiku sweeps Kaduna

Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has won the presidential election in Kaduna State.

Atiku polled 554,360 votes to beat his closest rival, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who polled 399,293 votes while

Peter Obi of the Labour Party garnered 294,494 votes as NNPP polled 92969 votes.

Labour Party (LP) won in seven local government areas of Kachia, Jema’a, Jaba, Kajuru, Kaura, Chikun and Zangon Kataf with 294,,494 votes.

Kaduna Returning Officer, Professor Zayyan Umar while announcing the results said, total registered voters in the state was 4.335,208. Accredited voters were; 1,418,046.

The ruling APC won only in Sanga and Birnin Gwari local government areas.
