Former Military President, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida has returned to Nigeria after a routine medical check-up in Switzerland.
A close family source told Radio Nigeria in Minna, Niger State capital that the retired military general who arrived Minna en-route the Federal Capital Territory Abuja with a private jet, is ‘hale and hearty’.
It was reliably gathered that he arrived Abuja International Airport around 4pm on Thursday and was received by the former National Security Adviser, General Aliyu Gusau and his second son Aminu Babangida.
According to sources, the former Military President later proceeded to Minna after airport protocols in company of two of his children, Aisha and Muhammad Babangida and others.
General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) left the country sometimes around January this year at the peak of political campaigns and consultations by political actors ahead of the 2023 general elections.
