Firmino to leave Liverpool after season

Brazil forward Roberto Firmino has decided not to renew his deal and is leaving Liverpool as soon as his contract expires at the end of the season.

The 31-year-old has been with the club for 8 years through a £29m deal from Hoffenheim in June 2015 has told manager Jurgen Klopp of his decision.

Although on several occasions, Klopp has shown interest in working with Firmino beyond this summer.

Firmino joined Liverpool to win the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and Club World Cup during his time at Anfield.

He has made 353 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 107 goals and providing 70 assists.
