Kaduna State governor Malam Nasiru El’rufai while flagging off the Western Bye-pass
Kaduna State government has flagged off the reconstruction of the twenty one point one kilometers of Western Bye-pass.
The State Governor Malam Nasiru El’rufai while flagging off the project along Bakin Ruwa junction said It is one of the three roads in Kaduna State being funded by the Dangote Group under the Federal Government tax credit scheme.
Malam El’rufai explained that, Dangote Group would carry out the project and appreciated President Mohammadu Buhari for approving tax credit scheme for the reconstruction of Western bypass, the Kaduna Birning Gwari road and the Birning Gwari to Dansadau road linking up to Katsina State.
According to the Governor, all three projects would be concreate roads that will last for many years.
Governor El’rufai said the revamped Western Bye-pass would enhance the safety of commuters thereby reducing accident rates and minimizing insecurity and boost economic activities in the area.
“It is a welcome deployment of the best technology of hard waring road, and Kaduna State is grateful to be a beneficiaries of this.
We are grateful to Alhaji Aliko Dangote that have been pastering and bothering for the past two and three years to get this project started” said Governor El’rufai.
In a remark, Alhaji Aliko Dangote represented by a director in his company, Engineer Mansur Ahmad called on residents of the area to be patient and provide all the necessary support to the contractors so the project can be completed within the stipulated time.
