Three children and three adults have been killed after a female shooter attacked a school in Nashville, Tennessee.
Nashville fire department confirmed that there were “multiple patients”.
Police said the shooter was killed in an exchange of fire.
Don Aaron, a spokesperson for Metropolitan Nashville Police Department confirmed to the press that the police began receiving distress calls at 10:13a.m. on the incidence and on arrival heard gunshots from the school’s second floor.
3 children were reportedly taken to hospital bearing gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead.
The Covenant School in Nashville is a private Christian school for pre-schoolers through 6th grade, with the oldest pupils around 11 to 12 years.
