A Magistrate Court, sitting in Ifo, Ifo local government area of Ogun State, has granted Portable bail.
The Ogun State Police Command on Monday arraigned Habeeb Okikiola also known as Portable on six counts bordering on assault.
Portable was arrested on Friday, March 31, after he refused to honour police invitation to the station.
The singer was alleged to have had a confrontation with officers where one of them was injured.
In his ruling, Magistrate A.S Shoneye said the offences were bailable and granted Portable bail of N300,000 and two sureties who must reside within the jurisdiction of the court.
Magistrate Shoneye also ruled that, the defendant be transferred to the Ilaro correctional centre, pending the time his bail requirements were met.
The case was adjourned till April 26 for the commencement of trial.
