Senator Samuel Anyanwu has emerged as the Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Imo State for the November 11 Governorship election.
Senator Anyanwu is PDP’s National Secretary, he emerged after winning the Party’s Governorship Primary conducted on Wednesday at the PDP secretariat in Owerri, Imo State.
The Imo State PDP Organising Secretary, Lawrence Biado said a seven-man electoral panel formed by the party’s National Working Committee, NWC headed by Kenneth Okon monitored the exercise.
States such as Imo, Bayelsa and Kogi who did not participate in the March 11 Governorship elections will be conducting a one-off governorship elections on November 11, 2023.
