The Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), has demanded the Prosecution of Adamawa Resident Electoral Commissioner, HUDU YUNUSA ARI, and other accomplices, for indulging in election malpractice .
IPAC strongly condemns the illegal and unconstitutional declaration of Adamawa State governorship supplementary election result by the State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Hudu Yunusa Ari while collation of results was in progress.
A statement signed by the IPAC Chairman, Alhaji Yagbaji Sani, also urges INEC to complete the Collation of results and declare authentic winner.
It reinstates the need for Electoral Offences Commission to be established to always try Electoral offenders.
IPAC reiterates its call for a review of the process in appointing Resident Electoral Commissioners as some of them are partisan and ignorant of their statutory duties and will go out of their way to foist their preferred candidates, thus subverting the will of the people.
It states that the council will strongly resist any attempt to impose an unpopular leader on fellow compatriots.
