Olayinka  Braimoh emerges AA candidate in Kogi

An Abuja based Real Estate Developer, Mr. Olayinka Braimoh has emerged the flag bearer of the Action Alliance (AA) for the November 11th governorship election in Kogi state.

The Chairman of Kogi state Action Alliance Electoral Committee, James Benebe who announced the result of the party’s primary election held in Lokoja on Monday, said that Braimoh defeated his closest rival, Simon Ogwu by 101 votes.

Mr Braimoh said his aspiration in politics was borne out of a burden on him to seek power to lift the people of the state out of poverty.

The Action Alliance gubernatorial candidate, who noted that he has a full grasp of the myriad of challenges bedevilling the state, said he has mapped out a clear cut programme to tap on the abundant resources available in the state to make the state an investment hub to create and retain wealth for the overall benefit of the people.

Mr. Braimoh stressed the need for the people of Kogi state to look beyond the perceived bigger parties, and put into consideration the candidate with the required capacity to ensure the general wellbeing of the state.
