Davido, police arrange security ahead of concert

The long awaited album ‘Timeless’ by afrobeat megastar, Davido released on March 31, has continued to enjoy grand reception world wide, as Lagos sets for a concert.

With thousands of fans anticipating Davido’s concert in Lagos, the Timeless legend visited the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa to finalise security arrangements and ensure the safety of Lagosians.

The concert is scheduled for April 23 at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a tweet confirmed the police’s commitment to ensure security at the event.

Two weeks after its release, the album had recorded over 300,000,000 streams on Boomplay and on YouTube, Timeless recorded over 1.3 million views.
