Stakeholders in the Technology sector have been tasked to collaborate with the government in moving the country’s digital technology and communication to an enviable height.
They made the call at the madien edition of the International Technology and Communication Expo (ITEC) 2023, organised by Abuja Chambers of Commerce and industry (ACCI) in collaboration with Afrihub.
The Chairman Organising Committee, Dr Johnson Anene, said it was necessary for the private and public sectors to advance the technology for the growth of the economy.
According to him, the Expo serve as an avenue for the exhibitors to create wealth and jobs for the youth in the digital and technology sectors.
One of the exhibitors, Ekubo Timi from the space engineering center of NASRDA, expressed confidence that the exhibition would showcase the Nigeria satellite that has been beneficial for agriculture and wether forcast.
Another participant, William Samuel from Business entrepreneurship, skills, and technology center of the ACCI, agreed that the exhibition would create, as well as strengthen partnership with investors.
“We have seen alot of technology and we would partner with the exhibitors to teach young people the use of these technologies”
The three days ITEC 2023 Expo with the theme ‘Advancung Technology and Communication for National growth,’ will train youths on digital technology and vocational skills.
