PDP alleges plot to influence tribunal verdict

Ahead of the commencement of the 2023 election petitions tribunal sitting in Abuja on Monday, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has accused the All Progressives Congress, APC of plotting to Influence the verdict of the tribunal.

Addressing newsmen in Abuja on Sunday, the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Mr. Debo Ologunagba claimed that they have uncovered an alleged plot by the APC to influence the outcome of the Tribunal and create public tension.

The PDP also accused the APC of intimidating and harassing Nigerian youths and eminent personalities for speaking out against their move to install what they called a government that does not enjoy the mandate of majority of Nigerians.

But in a swift reaction, a Chieftain of the APC and Minister of State For Labour and Employment, Mr. Festus Keyamo described the PDP’S allegation as nothing but reverse psychology and cheap blackmail.

Mr. Keyamo in a statement maintained that the PDP’s continuous attack on the 2023 election when the matter was still at the Tribunal amounted to contempt of court.

Mr. Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria said the PDP was only attempting to create panic and emotional blackmail instead of going to court today to begin to prove its case.
