President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday commissioned seven legacy projects completed by the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing across the country.
The projects are the 2nd Niger Bridge in Onitsha, Anambra State, the Loko-Oweto Bridge across River Benue, linking Benue to Nasarawa State, and the Ikom Bridge in Cross River State.
Others are the completed section of the over 200 kilometres of Kano-Kaduna Dual Carriage Expressway, and new federal secretariats in Awka, Anambra State, Gusau in Zamfara State, and Yanagoa, in Bayelsa State.
The one in Lafiya, Nasarawa State, which was commissioned in February this year, is the fourth federal secretariat built by the Buhari Administration.
Meanwhile, the Federal Executive Council, FEC, is holding an extraordinary meeting to consider projects slated for execution under the administration.
Radio Nigeria gathered that not less than 40 memoranda are being attended to in the meeting.
Tuesday’s meeting comes a day before the valedictory FEC to be held on Wednesday, which is expected to treat the remaining memoranda in queue.
